Henderson Settlement
A group of four people from Circleville Community Church (Blaine and Lemoyne Hayes along with Bob and Joanne Wolford) went on a mission trip to Henderson Settlement in Frakes, Kentucky as part of Red Bird Mission.
Our group met with 10 other individuals from various churches to put siding and shingles on a house as well as build partitions inside the house. This home was built for a mother and her children who applied to Henderson Settlement much like the process used by Habitat for Humanity. Groups of people come in each week to help with different steps of building the house. The group of workers had a chance to join together for fellowship and worship in the evenings throughout the week.
