UPCOMING OUTREACH EVENTS AND OPPORTUNITIES

Neighborhood Networks - 2011 - Our church is partnering with local Pickaway County agencies to offer a new program.  Neighborhood Networks is a ministry that reaches out to those in poverty within our community.  Its goal is to encircle families with community members who can provide them with the skills, tools, and encouragement they need in order to equip them for a permanent life change.   Families and community members are asked to make a 12-18 month commitment to the program in order to ensure these positive changes are given the time to be nurtured and matured.   Anyone interested in learning more about this ministry is encouraged to contact our Outreach Director at outreach(at)circlevillecommunitychurch.com.

Flood Buckets - Our church will be putting together flood buckets for those recently effected by the flooding & tornados.

Bradley's House of Hope - Our scouting team had a wonderful experience in Nicaragua. Thank you for your prayers & support!

Outreach Ministries

Community's Outreach is designed to engage the church family in reaching out to our community on local, national, and international levels.  This involves, but certainly not limited to, community projects, outreach training, Bible studies, and mission trips.  

Our programs also include networking with our Education and Family Life teams in providing parenting and family education as well as determining spiritual gifts and mininstry strengths and interests.   Our annual Angel Program provides Christmas gifts to qualified local families with church members (the angels) collecting and distributing the gifts to their adopted family.

The Filling Station meets Sunday evenings at 6:00 pm providing a variety of Music and a Message in a worship setting followed by a free Meal for all  who attend.  Everyone is welcome!

One Community Ministries is an extension arm of Community United Methodist Church in providing Prison, Re-entry and Life Skills programs.  The programs include ministries for those in prison, ex-offenders in transition and their families.
